PingBattle

Terms of use

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms apply when you use PingBattle on pingbattle.com or in the PingBattle apps for iPhone and Android. Inersion LLC ("we"), an Indiana limited liability company, provides PingBattle. By using it you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use PingBattle.

Using PingBattle

PingBattle is free. You may use it yourself, at your club and at your events, including the scorekeeper, live scoreboard and tournament tools.

Age

You must be at least 13 to play online or publish a live scoreboard. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian first.

Fair play

Don't use a name that is offensive or harassing, or that pretends to be someone else. Don't cheat, disrupt other players' games, overload or attack the servers, or try to reach data that isn't yours. We may block anyone who breaks these rules.

Your safety

Drills, timers, the footwork caller and VR mode involve physical activity. Warm up, play within your fitness, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. In VR, clear the space around you, keep your headset's boundary turned on, and watch for people, pets and furniture. You are responsible for your own safety while using PingBattle.

Rules and results

The rules guide is a plain-language summary for casual and club play, not the official text. For sanctioned events, the official ITTF Handbook and the referee decide. Check any result that matters, such as a tournament standing, before you rely on it.

Your content

Player names, match titles and scores you enter are yours. When you publish a live scoreboard, you let us store it and show it to anyone with its link until it expires.

Ownership and open source

PingBattle's code, design, graphics and text belong to Inersion LLC. PingBattle includes open-source software, which is used under its own licenses; see the open-source notices.

Trademarks

PingBattle is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) or any other table tennis organisation. ITTF is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to refer to its rules. Other names belong to their owners.

No warranty

PingBattle is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that PingBattle will be available, error-free or accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Inersion LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost data, or for injury or damage arising from your use of PingBattle. Our total liability for any claim relating to PingBattle is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

App stores

If you got PingBattle from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for PingBattle or its support.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use PingBattle. If something doesn't work with your screen reader, keyboard or other assistive technology, write to support@pingbattle.com and we will work on a fix.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem with PingBattle, write to support@pingbattle.com first so we can try to sort it out. Any dispute that can't be resolved that way will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you and Inersion LLC agree to their jurisdiction. If you live in a country whose laws give you the right to bring a claim in your own local courts, these terms don't take that right away.

Changes

We may change or stop PingBattle, and we may update these terms. When they change, the date at the top changes too. If you keep using PingBattle after a change, the new terms apply.
